I am keen to find a local source of parts for a 1977 Vauxhall Chevette (Preferably Auckland, but NZ or Aus is good too). Or if there is any experience with a good online parts supplier. Thanks in advance.

Not much yet fortunately. But would like a fully working steering wheel stalk switch set, heated rear window switch and interior light switch (dashboard), and I will need to replace at least the front shocks, maybe also rears (but don't need authentic parts for that). It would be useful to know where to get air filter and things like ignition parts and brake parts. But she runs beautifully at present so I am really just planning ahead.

Contact Tony Lycnh, 021971612. He's the local Chevette guru, currently races a HSR Chevette replica with a quad carb 1uz and is Based in Dairy Flat with about 5 Chevette part cars and a shed full of bits. Check out http://www.lynchbuilt.co.nz

Anyone know where I can get rear side window rubbers (the ones that hold the clips in at the front of the window in the B pillar)
And also the rubbers that go on the guards for the bonnet to rest against
What's the difference between understeer and oversteer?
Understeer is when the driver is scared.
Oversteer is when the passenger is scared.
