I've just been quoted $400 for stripping and re-chroming a pair for a Mitsi GTO, sound a lot? Maybe that's what you have to pay these days?

Cheers,
Damo

Cool. Home paint jobs can work out well.
It looks much tidier.

cost 1500 for the damage to be repaired, not sure how much of that was for the bumper, but 400 for a pair sounds pretty damn good to be honest,

and yeah home job is no different to a pro job if you find someone who knows whey they are doing

Looks awesome man! Love the mesh on the headlights. Can I see some camber? Maybe not.

Not sure what kinda condition it was in when your mate had it (is he on here, username?) but from what ive heard, it was in good condition, then someone ditched the original engine and planned a rotor for it, then they guy i got it off put the more original 18r engine in and fixed it up a bit, but didn't do a very good job, and now ive put in quite a bit of effort to bring it up to standard.

Not sure about the driving lights though. I think they look a bit modern and take away from the nice chrome bumpers. If it were mine, I would keep the front as un-cluttered as possible. Just because it looks so mint by itself it would be difficult to add to it.

Saw you today on the motorway.
Good it's got a wof now.
Get rid of those nasty rear tyres or at least clean the overspray off, Please.
Your car looked good though.

Have you talked to CUL8R? He's the man for tyre hook ups.
Sand it off? or reverse the tyre on the rim?

Did you do the tints in place or windows out? You will get better at it, im no pro but can lay a nice tint down. Just dont try doing a sierra wagon, fuck that sucked. Looking back i should have punched him for having an LPG sierra wagon. Aaaah high-school.

had all the glass out, tints are fairly nice now and nothing at all to complain about for a total of 5 bucks and a few hours. painted a couple of the frame parts while they were out too.

nicely tie in with the whole blue and black theme im running with :)
