Right, so I've been on a two wheeled tangent lately.
I was wondering if anyone else is into the 80s BMXs too?
Heres my rides to date.

Mean. I've got a Supersport 202 Magnum as well. I painted it matty b when I was younger. Woops. I'm keen to have a tinker with it again though. It's got the 3 speed hub gear but will probably convert to single speed hub. Where do you find sicko five spokes like yours? Slash how much?

They are skyway tuffs, can be found on trademe or bought new, often fetch around 300 though!

I have a supersport and HMX500 in the garage, your single gusset HMX is sweet!

Sweet thanks.
I have no HMXs though, which one do you mean?

Yeah not sure about E bay mine came from the link I posted.
They were refered to me by a sales rep at Skyway. They seem good too.

What're the last two? I assumed they were mkI hmx500's, or a supermax.

Thanks for the link. Does anyone make 4 or 3 spoke wheels? Very keen to ride the supersport again.

Grand Pro/Motogard.
I'm not sure what the deal is, it's the same bike with different names and slightly different colour schemes.

I think there were quite a few similar frame designs that just got badged differently. Have seen Suzuki branded ones that look just like hmx500's

My Supersport / HMX600 Repica is coming alongish
Have the frame powder coted and a sticker kit.
Just need to make the two become one.
And clean up the Tuffs

Anyone know an easy way to get the plastic oxiding off the Tuffs?
Sand paper works, but seems I would be ther doing it for days
tried soda blasting but it left the red plastic a bit to white in color

I read something online about it Al, but can't remember what was used - scouring pad + something iirc - will try to find out. I have some old ACS-Z rims (spokes but plastic rim) that I want to tidy up too so need to do the same sort of thing.

Keen to get some tuffs at some stage.

I still need to get my frames powder coated - keep forgetting/putting it off

I remember spokes, they had a blue Morrison in the window for years, it looked to awesome to ride.
That Alpine/all those bikes look awesome.
I saved another Super Sport from the tip the other weekend, I will give it a freshen up and my kids can ride it.
