NEXT ROUND DECEMBER 18th

Road and Track is back with all guns loaded this year. We have 8 rounds which includes 3 backtrack autocross rounds and the Ernie's Engineering "Hardy's Heroes" superlap competition.

It's $75 if you register early and $100 on the day. Any road car is eligible - all you need is a helmet, overalls and a fire extinguisher.

This has been awesome so far. We've had a huge variation of cars, a big number of fresh-faced drivers and have already given away the first 200 series stickers!

Next round is July 17 on the main track. Anyone can compete - NO club membership or license required.

Double-header backtrack autocross/gymkhana weekend coming up on November 5th & 6th - come and do some skids!

November 5th and 6th aren't far away - two days of back track madness at Manfeild. Entry via Kawakawa rd.

$75 per day if you enter before the end of the week or $120 combo for both days - $100 if you bring a new competitor to the series (for either day). Pay by bank deposit or on the day (we have mobile eftpos).

Is there any strict rules on helmets, fire extinguisher size and overalls for this?

At the OS track day I had a fire extinguisher in the glovebox and overalls with no sleeves, but I guess I need to buy something better for this and mount a fire extinguisher properly?

That helmet should be fine... It looks exactly the same as the ones we lend out for club days . You can borrow cotton overalls if needed. They have to be full length sleeves, but we'll let you get away with loose cuffs etc.

Extinguisher needs to be bolted down with at least 2 10mm bolts, get the drill out.

We're all go for this weekend and it looks like the weather might hold out for the most part! I'm going to be taking pictures and video, so give me something to smile at .

We're already had 149 separate competitors throughout the year with piles of people coming back for more. Good to see people enjoying having a skid.
