4 bhg's!! bugger that

oopps typo 3 bhgs kind of I bought the car 6 days later bhg, rebuild then get bored boost up bhg, do research find its like there favorite thing to do get arp head studs, then rod knock, then rebuild with forgies, get all finished wired ect but to hit they dyno no oil pressure, dump the oil full of water hadnt even been turbnded over, remove motor strip inspect my oil pump that I had checked while machine work was being done was out by 40thou aparently and they think the gasket may not have sealed beacuse one of the dowels in the block looked a little doggy so new mhg getting built again atm then gotta try figure how im going to transport the motor home put it back it ectect drop it back for run in and dyno

but yea bugger that :) slightly bitter but still love the pos deep down :)

thanks mate with any luck it may also run aswell as being a garage queen :) I can understand alot of peoples dislike of mk3's because the mostly broken ass pre facelifts but in the world wide scene there are some very niceexamples which i hope my car will come close too one day nz rules and regs make some things harder but I do plkan to have this thing as close to what I want whilst 100% legal

yea haven't been here for a while but it does :) not without drama's though lol

Got it tuned by spec tps was buggered so I got a new one for them to finish the tune next minute ground shakes and pushes the dyno out of the floor lol (with them it made 370kw @ 19 psi)

so seen as they were out of action I took it to NZEFI where they didnt want to work with spec's tune and wanted to retune it not just add tps info so what ever straped it to there machine it now made 384kw @17 psi :)

After it was tuned I pulled the motor twice to reseal the dam leaking sump and a broken flywheel bolt (this post is long enough with details of this fiasco aswell)

Dyno vid from when it was at spec

so it runs and legal!
