If i am not mistaken, that has a non orig siera sump, which will fit in an escort, and it looks like it isn't a cut and welded.. could this be an rs2000 sump? if it was closer i would buy it.

Message for Jerm: the genuine RS2000 sump was alloy with extra lugs at the bottom that bolted to the bellhousing.

Thanks, i actually meant a 2L sump like they have on the 2L escorts in oz?

As the sump on that pinto has the bowl at the back.. don't they usually have it at the front?

I thought this is what you need to put a pinto into an escort.. as the usual 2L sump will hit the steering rack...?
