z18et1200coupe
Hey Team, Picked up this ol girl a couple of months back, I've been out of town for 2 months so haven't managed to do anything on it yet, apart from fix the old rusty exhaust and put a new pipe out the back. It's done 44,000ks. The seller said that was original which is hard to believe. But it drives so smooth it could be possible! Interior is super plush and perfect condition! All red vinyl which is super porno. Alternator whacked itself on the drive back to Auckland. Apart from that it ran ok for the trip back (from hastings). Once I got back I gave the carb a wee tune and disconnected the choke because it kept jamming on. Runs dang good now. Plans for the meantime; -Get new alt, Anyone have one??! -Wheels, have some to turn into 15x10s -Slam -Roof rack or bootlid rack. Anyone have some spare springs I could get compressed also? And an Alternator? Cheers! Chat; //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/46626-z18et1200coupes-1975-toyota-crown/
z18et1200coupe
Picked up some Jap 4x4 wheels yesterday, whipped one apart before and chucked in a 5stud center to see how they look/fit. I think they look pretty sweet, once some 205s are stretched on and she's few inches lower it should be sweet. If I think it looks stupid I'll flick off the wheels and raise her back up! Easy as. BTW Deerfield is a division of Work wheels, so they should be a good quality wheel, and they're surprisingly light!
z18et1200coupe
Gave the ol girl a good clean on the weekend for the Kumue show, it suprised me how well it came up! I'm gona give it a good polish sometime to really clean it up! Sorted out my wheels too. Still undecided if I'll put em on. Will need mega slam if I do, and I'll need some more springs (let me know if you've got some to sell) Few pics
z18et1200coupe
Whipped out all my springs tonight. Going to head into the wreckers tomorrow to find some springs that work for me to compress/cut. Been looking at air shocks. Probably gona get some off ebay. Will be like $100 for a pair and can get perfect slam height. Only photo I have is of my buddy using the wheels for the crown on his whip till I need him.. Not oldschool but some will appreciate..

z18et1200coupe
Lifted the front up a smidge so it doesn't rub so bad. Put some new shocks in front and rear. Took some photos. Happy with how it's looking! Love the interior in this thing!
