427carguy
I ended up getting this st70 out of a deal for stuff all, but its pretty rough no engine, tank, wiring ect. It sat behind a mates garage for quite a while until we decided drag It back to mine... We put in a Ct90 engine in that I had lying around, we couldn't sort the wiring so it would only run off a battery charger then the clutch was also jammed on, so after this the idea was scrapped for a bit longer. But first since this all happened while pre drinking for a mates stag do, It did some burnouts This bike was then dragged back out a few days befor a QCR ride... A running c50 engine was slammed in and springs were cut. Then of course another burnout was completed And while drinking at the after party fire burnouts happened So this is where we are up to now, and this bike is a lot of fun mainly because it is tiny and cost stuff all, so iv decided to actually spend some time on it and built it properly. This is progress so far, longer swing arm with mono hard tail and my recessed seat Next on the list is to work out some rake, and a hand shifter with a linkage so its go a usable throw.

crustywhip
Such a sweet bike and it was easy to ride (in 6foot) looming forward to seeing this again in it's new look.
427carguy
It was actually pretty easy to ride befor, even did a whole ride one handed holding a gopro pole. Don't think it will be that easy now it has rake it's that slammed that I have to relocate the pegs from under the engine. Will post photos soon.
427carguy
Gave it some rake yesterday, Going to fill those holes then make some scalloped steel strengthening plates to weld over top. I was going for a Mexican lowider look but I think I missed that by a mile but still pretty happy with it so far. Im also starting to get keen on the idea of a super charger....
flyingbrick
What's not immediately obvious is the amount of extra work which has gone into subtle mindfucks like.. Flipping the Honda sticker, moving the chain drive from left to right hand side, shaving the front brake drum etc. Well done
427carguy
I have made some progress on this little bike. Firstly it is small!!! Made some strengthening plates Found a wider rear wheel from a Chinese chopper and fitted it Made new bar mounts and fitter bars Turns out the c50 engine was fried after the last burnout so fitted a pit bike 110cc engine to get it running for QCR display at a local car show. Also gave it an average spray can paint job for now until I paint it properly Also at this show it was a part of a group QCR burnout https://www.youtube.com/watch?list=UULHhiXo71NEQ8bwICQV6mhg&v=1pHHjcqKaBc#t=10 This thing is also so slammed it rips sump bungs out
