74lj-slt Posted August 31, 2014 Share Posted August 31, 2014 Hi Guys, Dismantled everything to replace both upper and lower ball joints and have struck an issue on the lower ones. There is a lip coming up from the mounting surface of the ball joint but it is still cast, it hasn't been machined and the thing don't fit, both lower ones are the same. The removed ball joints slide in and out without any hassle so they're not pressed in, Anyone replace their lower ball joints and remember how they were? Mike Simmonds Posted September 4, 2014 Share Posted September 4, 2014 The lower ball joints are different on the 65's compared to other models as they are smaller, looks like you have been given 85-130 ones, the upper ball joints are all the same.
