danger Posted October 21, 2012 Share Posted October 21, 2012 No more RX7, new toy in its place. Needs a bit of work but should be a savage truck. First things first, its obviously been drowned a few times so will strip interior, sort out electrical gremlins and clean things up. Next up I'll make some longer breathers for diffs and trans along with fluids service and brakes. When money allows I'll buy longer front shocks and cut out the horrid lower shock mount plates that have been welded into factory front shock mount turrets, tidy up the arms that have been modded to bring the diff forward or make new adjustable ones. The chassis brace in the back where the spare tyres should attach has obviously been used as a tow point so I'll straighten it or possibly cut it out and rebrace. New tow mounts will be added. Will also attach some spotlights at some point, look at adding a rollbar and bullbar and then look at tidying the body. Also looking at downsizing the 35"s to 33"s and regrooving the 35"s for 4wding missions. Seems to have a tight rear LSD with an open front. front diff has a slightly leaky LH side so might weld up the head when I take it out to do the axle seal.
